28, 2005 at Cleveland County
Community College.

Vaughn, Gena Moore, Dick Cole, Emily King,

Program
The meeting began with a presentation by Dru
Zuretti, Client Relationship Manager with Copyright
Clearance Center. She presented useful information and answered
questions concerning current copyright issues, laws, and practices. CCC is now offering a product that allows
instructors to obtain copyright permission for work posted in Blackboard
through a Blackboard Building Block. The
group was shown how the system seeks and manages permissions through requests
made by instructors within the Blackboard module.
LRA Conference
Harry Cooke asked for program ideas for next year’s LRA
conference in July at Wake Technical
Community College. Suggestions and ideas should be sent to Mike Crumpton at Wake Tech.
