James Sprunt Community College
Provide aid to library patrons (on campus and distance
learning) by helping them to formulate research strategies,
locate and use library materials including reference
resources such as encyclopedias, indexes, electronic
databases and other computerized sources and services; staff
the reference desk, conduct library orientations and other
instructional seminars, collection cataloging, assist in
maintaining the collection, collect statistics and use the
library computer systems in daily library operations.
Requirements: Master’s Degree in Library Science with
considerable computer applications skills including word
processing, EXCEL, and trouble-shooting. Some work
experience in library related job duties, including use of
online catalog, online resources, and subscription
databases.

Noon, August 14, 2008 or until filled. PROJECTED DATE OF
EMPLOYMENT: September 1, 2008. Must have a completed
